Menus

lim
The Set Paths item pops up a dialog box to set various paths (see section 3.2.9). The Options item pops up a dialog box to set various options that control lim operation (see section 3.2.8).
Display
The display menu allows you to choose which packages or series of packages you wish to view (see section 3.2.7).
Search
The four items in the Search menu let you search through all the information loaded about packages for a certain regular expression (if you don't know what a regular expression is, you can just type plain text). The current selections in the appropriate listboxes will be lost, and each package that matches the regular expression will be selected.
Verify
You can verify (and correct) installed packages by selecting one or more packages from the install package listbox and choosing Verify Only or Verify & Correct from the Verify menu. A transcript window will appear and the packages will be verified. See section 3.1.7 for details on what verification and correction entails.
Help
The Balloon Help item toggles the operation of balloon help. When balloon help is active, a small window with some help text will float near the pointer as it enters different buttons, listboxes and other widgets. Note that balloon help does not interfere with the normal operation of lim. The other help item brings up a window showing what the mouse buttons and keys do in the listbox windows.
