The Transcript Window

The transcript window (Window 3.3) is used whenever you click on Engage or List Files, or select something from the Verify menu. It consists of a label, a scrolling transcript area, a status bar and four buttons: Close, Search, Save and Cancel. While the program(s) generating the transcript are running, only the Cancel button is active, and clicking on it informs lim that you want it to stop (sometimes lim must complete what it is currently doing or do some backing out in order to keep things clean -- therefore the Cancel button might not have an immediate effect).

Once the programs are done or canceled the other buttons become active. Close will close the transcript window, Search will let you search for a regular expression in the transcript, and Save allows you to save the transcript to a file.
