Step 3: Select Swap

The swap partitions listed are those marked as Linux swap (82) during the partitioning phase. Each swap partition must be formatted with mkswap before it can be used. If you have not run mkswap on these partitions before, do so now. In fact, it is a good idea to just run mkswap every time. If you wish to check for bad blocks on your swap partitions, indicate so, and any blocks found to be bad will be ignored.
