I think something along the lines of a simple, functional
integrated suite of productivity apps would be great. A decent
spreadsheet/database/word processor combo would make migration
to Linux a more practical proposition for a lot of people.
I also want to see Java arrive on Linux. Check out:

In de.comp.os.linux, there was a thread about a rumoured port of
the StarDivision Office suite.
If this became true, it would be a major scoop for both Linux and
Star Division; their app suite is supposed to be superiour to
Lotus's.
