How do I find out what version I have? Do iBCS modules support all SCO binaries or do they support up to a certain version? Thanks Allen

The archive name is of the form ibcs-X.Y-YYMMDD.tar.gz. The YYMMDD is the release date. The X.Y is the kernel release it works against (always the current patch level on the release date *not* arbitrary patch levels!). If it gives a development kernel it should also work against the current production kernel. So for a 1.2.13 kernel you need the latest ibcs-1.3 archive from tsx-11.mit.edu:/pub/linux/BETA/ibcs2/. AL> How do I find out what version I have? If you don't have the archive look at README, RELEASE, ChangeLog etc. If you don't have those You'd be better off just getting the archive from tsx-11. SCO COFF binaries from 3.2.x through OpenServer 5.0.2 have been handled by iBCS for literally years. SCO ELF binaries from OpenServer 5 became supported late in the ibcs-1.3 series I think (shared libraries permitting). There are a few things known to be missing but no one seems to need them. Mike
