Both, actually, but primarily POSIX, which means that many things are SystemVish. There is enough BSD that it isn't too far from BSD either. Some programs port better if you configure them for SysV, some if you configure them for BSD. > Also, what shells come with Linux? Anything that has sources freely available. :-) Bash, ash, zsh, tcsh, ksh, and rc are the ones I can think of at once. I've only used bash and rc, myself.
