Components are ``meta-packages'' that consist of a group of related packages
(such as C language Development, which includes compilers, libraries and
debuggers). You can either select system components for installation,
use the fine-grained package selection available on the next screen, or a
combination of the two. To select a component or individual package,
move the highlight to the desired item and toggle its flag with .
To enable individual package selection you should flag the ``Select individual
packages'' option on the Component selection screen. If you select the
``Everything'' component, all packages will be selected for installation. You
can then use the individual package selection to deselect the items that
you do not want to install.
