Make a Boot Disk and a Root Disk

The images directory on the CD-ROM is the root of the boot disk images. Look at the file version.idx and choose a kernel version. Change to the proper kernel version directory. Read the image.idx file and choose a hardware configuration. Choose the boot image bootXXXX.img that corresponds to the image listed in the file. Use dd or rawrite3.exe (found in the dos directory) to write the proper boot image file to a formatted high density (1.44Mb) 3.5 inch floppy.

Do the same for the root disk, using the images/rootdisk.img image.
