Step 11: Install X Server, Install Kernel

This stage requires no input from you. The X Server you selected in stage 7 will be installed, and the kernel will be copied from your boot floppy (which you should have inserted) to your new system.

If you installed the development series, after the kernel is installed the kernel sources will also be installed. Kernel sources are usually needed if you are doing development as many programs reference kernel header files in their sources.
