Newsgroups: comp.windows.x.i386unix,comp.os.linux.announce From: orestz@eskimo.com (Orest Zborowski) Subject: Linux XFree86 3.1 distribution update Message-ID: < ann-9318.783021999@cs.cornell.edu> Date: Mon, 24 Oct 1994 18:07:00 GMT Approved: linux-announce@tc.cornell.edu (Matt Welsh) I've corrected some problems with some of the binaries provided in the Linux distribution of XFree86 3.1. The CHANGES file below briefly describes these changes. Since development on the next release of XFree86 has begun, this will likely be the last update to XFree86 3.1. It will take a couple of days for the new packages to make their way to mirror sites. As always, report problems with this distribution to me. -orest This document describes changes made to the distribution. If you've already downloaded it, there is no need to re-download it. -orest 10/22/94: Fixed multiple groups bug with xdm (and xdm-shdw). Fixed xterm munged tty flags when invoked in background.
